About Me

My Story
I founded MENtal Awareness with a deep understanding of the unique challenges men face in seeking mental health help. Driven by personal and family experiences, as well as a passion for reducing stigma, I hope to encourage men to seek support and start a conversation.

My Approach
I believe that every man’s mental health journey is unique and deserves personalized goals, and person-centered care. I have over 10 years experience counselling in the field of addictions and mental health.

I have a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC, #21369). My approach to counselling is both compassionate and humanistic, drawing predominantly from the tools of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Nature-Based Therapy (NBT).
